NORTHSTAR SUMMER CAMP 2026

Enjoy summer fun at one Northstar School’s various summer programs. The programs will all take place at Northstar’s beautiful campus adjacent to Don Castro Regional Park. All classroom and outdoor activities will be led by seasoned staff. If you need an option to join for a partial session and only participate in specific weeks, please email summer@northstarschool.org.

SESSIONS OFFERED:

Boys’ Summer Camp  | Girls’ Summer Camp | June 15 – July 2
This summer, we invite boys and girls ages 8-12 to experience an unforgettable adventure with our beloved Ustadh Quran Hodge and dear Sr. Maryam Sellars at our Northstar School Summer Camp! Our day camp is designed to foster Muslim identity, friendships, teamwork, and personal growth while providing an enriching Islamic environment.  Each day will begin with duaa recitation, an Islamic reminder and theme to be focused on for the week along with hadith. Camp highlights include outdoor activities such as hiking and the sunnah of swimming at our nearby Don Castro Park, as well as team sports to promote physical fitness and teamwork. You can also expect some creative workshops where campers can explore their own creativity through crafting and experiments. Come ready to make new friends and learn new skills through our specialized sessions like archery and nature exploration!

Liability Waiver Form and Don Castro Permission Slip

Assumption of Risk:
I acknowledge that my child's participation in Northstar School's Summer Program involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activities, outdoor play, and educational excursions. I fully understand these risks and voluntarily agree to allow my child to participate.

Release of Liability:
I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Northstar School, its employees, volunteers, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, and expenses arising from or related to my child's participation in the Summer Program, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by the school or its representatives.

Medical Authorization:
In case of medical emergency, I authorize Northstar School to seek immediate medical attention for my child. I understand that efforts will be made to contact me or the emergency contact listed above as soon as possible.

Permission to Walk to Don Castro:
I give permission for my child to participate in walking field trips to Don Castro Park.  Don Castro Park is on Woodroe Ave. and is adjacent to Northstar School's property.
