Parent Volunteer Program

Volunteers at Northstar School provide a invaluable service, and improve the quality of your child’s experience at school.  We know that parents who are involved in their child’s school will foster students who are dedicated to education and service.  At Northstar School, we love our volunteers, and pray that Allah (swt) gives you every reward for your time and effort given to the school for the sake of Allah (swt).

Families are required to fulfill a commitment of 40 hours of volunteer service per school year.  These 40 hours are divided into two blocks.  The first set of 20 hours are for work done between Sept 1, 2015 and January 8, 2016. These 20 hours must be completed by January 15, 2016 in order to avoid the $100 penalty fee.  The second set of 20 volunteer hours should be completed between January 16 and June 10, 2016.  If the 20 hours are not completed by the June 15, 2016,  a $100 fee accessed for the specified term.  If you have any questions about your volunteer hours, please contact Michelle Lee at michelle@northstarschool.org.
