Palestinian Cooking Night

Please join for a lively, fun-filled, Palestinian Cooking Night with Master Chefs Thana Ibrahim and Amira Silmi.  We will be learning how to cook maqluba, which means “upside down” in Arabic, and is a pot of stewed meat, rice and fried vegetables, cooked and flipped onto a serving dish to form an impressive tower.  It is often coined as the national dish of Palestine.  For dessert, we will learn katayef, cheese or walnut stuffed crepes, often served in Ramadan after a day of fasting.  Register today, as spots will be limited to the first 15 registrants. All proceeds will go to the Northstar 8th grade class to help fund their graduation event. Sisters only please!
